1. What Melo is

Melo is a discovery platform that connects buyers with independent Indian artisans and sellers. We do not sell products ourselves, hold payments, or manage deliveries. All transactions happen directly between buyers and sellers.

2. Using the platform as a buyer

• You may browse, save, and contact sellers freely.
• Any purchase you make is a direct agreement between you and the seller. Melo is not a party to that transaction.
• Melo is not responsible for product quality, delivery, or disputes between buyers and sellers.
• If you have a complaint about a seller, you may report it to us at contact@melo.com and we will investigate.

3. Using the platform as a seller

• By applying to list on Melo, you confirm that you are a genuine, active seller of the products you describe.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide, including product descriptions, prices, and images.
• You agree not to misrepresent your products or mislead buyers.
• Melo reserves the right to remove any seller listing that violates these terms or our community standards.

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Melo for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the platform without written permission.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the platform.

5. Intellectual property

The Melo name, logo, and all platform content are owned by Melo. Sellers retain ownership of their product images and descriptions. By listing on Melo, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your content on the platform.

6. Limitation of liability

Melo provides the platform on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for any losses arising from transactions between buyers and sellers, product defects, delivery failures, or any disputes. Use your own judgement when purchasing from any seller.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Melo after changes means you accept the updated terms.
